Glad Force
Flex Trash Bags
Glad force flex
trash bags are designed to prevent over stuffed bags from
splitting and creating unpleasant
spills.
This model is designed to stretch to
accommodate more trash, yet not split. In homes across the
country, people
will often try to squeeze just
that little bit more trash into the bag rather than take the
trash out. This constant over stuffing will regularly cause
the bag to split, so that when it is taking out of the trash
can, the contents will spill over the kitchen floor. Not
only is this an unpleasant chore to deal with, but it is
also extremely unhygienic.
Glad force flex trash bags have a unique
diamond texture which allows them to stretch. When stuffed,
most plastic bags will simply rip and tear, but this diamond
texture stretches and expands whilst retaining its shape.
This model is ideal for large families where trash cans will
up quickly, and where people will often try to get away with
forcing their garbage in without taking the full bag
out.
Glad force flex trash bags will usually
come with drawstring bands, and are therefore easy to lift
and carry, and are very easy to tie up. Taking the trash out
no longer has to be a chore. The bag is strong and durable
as all glad trash bags are, and although more expensive than
your average plastic bag, they can be had for around ten to
twenty cents.
There are strong positive customer
comments all over the internet which emphasise the strength
and durability of these glad trash bags.
They really are the king of trash bags and there design will
mean that it they will rarely split. Although the price is
higher, is still represents value for money. Quality always
costs more.
There are some reported problems with
these bags however. Some customers have complained of a
strong chemical type smell coming from the bag. Whilst this
is definitely detectable, I was not overly bothered by it,
however this would depend on your sensitivity to smells, and
other customers have actually said that they liked the smell
which they felt masked unpleasant trash odors. I suppose the
final opinion on this is down to the individual. The other
main negative is the price, they are definitely more
expensive than other trash bags. If you don’t have a problem
with splitting bags and are a light trash producer, then any
type of bag is likely to suit you. These were designed with
the heavy user in mind, families in
particular.
